FIRST GENERATION

1. George GABLE was born in 1741 in Holland. George stowed away on a ship to the United States at the age of 9 years old looking for a better life. Our GABLE roots are Holland Dutch. In the year of 1750, a ship headed for New England in the American colonies from a Holland port. George GABLE made his way to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he took on any type of work he could find to do. George GABLE married, no record of his wife's name has yet been found. They did have children. Five have thus far been named.

He was married before 1770 in Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania. George GABLE had the following children:
